The advantage of hydraulic transmission

1) Compared with mechanical devices, it has convenient operation, labor-saving, large freedom of system structure space, easy to realize automation, stepless speed regulation can be realized in a large range, large transmission ratio, easy to realize complex program movement and remote control;

(2) Hydraulic transmission has uniform and smooth transmission, fast reaction speed, small impact, can start, brake and reverse at high speed;

(3) Easy to achieve overload protection;

(4) High degree of standardization, serialization and universalization of hydraulic control components is conducive to shorten the design and manufacturing cycle of the machine and reduce the manufacturing cost.

The main disadvantages are:

(1) The transmission ratio cannot be strictly guaranteed due to the leakage and compressibility of the medium;

(2) The transmission efficiency is low due to the pressure loss and leakage in the process of energy transfer;

(3) Hydraulic device can not work at high temperature;

(4) The manufacturing accuracy of hydraulic control components is high and it is difficult to diagnose faults in the working process of the system.
